Vinay Kulkarni is the Founder of WeTalk Legal Rights, a legal awareness, advocacy and education initiative committed to making legal knowledge more accessible to individuals, families, institutions and communities.
With 15+ years of professional experience across diverse industries, Vinay brings together his background in law with extensive experience in commercial contracting, strategic sourcing, operations, people management, negotiations and stakeholder engagement. This multidisciplinary experience shapes his practical and structured approach to legal awareness and advocacy.
Through WeTalk Legal Rights, his focus is on creating awareness around legal rights, POCSO, child sexual abuse (CSA), child protection, gender-based violence (GBV), legal safeguards and available remedies, while encouraging informed conversations around issues that are often misunderstood, overlooked or difficult to discuss.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between the law as it is written and the law as people experience it—by explaining legal concepts in clear language, developing awareness campaigns, creating educational resources and encouraging individuals to understand their rights and responsibilities.
As Founder, Vinay leads the initiative’s vision, strategy, campaigns, educational programmes, content and collaborations, with an emphasis on responsible, accessible and meaningful legal awareness.
His professional background allows him to bring together legal understanding, corporate experience, strategic thinking and communication to create an initiative that is not merely about knowing the law, but about understanding how legal rights can help protect individuals and communities.
